We all start somewhere

We offer classes for different levels of skills, making sure your child is in a group that matches their skills. This way, we can track their progress and make sure they improve and are able to become the champions we want them to be!

LEVELS

BEGINNER 

LEVEL I

2.5 – 12 years

PRIMARY FOCUS: COMFORT
This Beginner class provides a foundation that helps children achieve comfort with basic swim skills.

 

Primary Focus: This foundational swim class is for beginner students to achieve comfort with beginning swim skills. Level 3 is divided by the age of the swimmer: ages 2.5 – 4 in one class and ages 5 – 12 in a separate class.

Student Goals: To overcome anxiety and learn proper breath control, comfort with submersion, independent floating on the stomach and back, independent kicking to and from the wall, roll to the back as a place of safety, and elementary backstroke.

LEVEL II

4 years and up

PRIMARY FOCUS: CONTROL
This Advanced Beginner class helps students achieve control of breathing while swimming.

 

Primary Focus: This is an advanced beginner swim class with the goal of gaining control with breathing and basic swim skills. It is for students with no anxiety when submerging or floating on their backs and already have basic foundational swim skills.

Student Goals: To efficiently move through the water demonstrating the basics of the freestyle and backstroke and breath control.

INTERMEDIATE

LEVEL III

4 years and up

PRIMARY FOCUS: INDEPENDENCE
This Intermediate class helps students master breath control and efficient strokes to gain independence in the water.

 

Primary Focus: This intermediate swim class is designed for students to move from a basic understanding of freestyle and backstroke and gain independence in the water through improved breath control and more efficient strokes.

Student Goals: To learn proper stroke technique in freestyle and backstroke, learn side breathing to freestyle, and be introduced to beginning breaststroke.

LEVEL IV

Based on swim ability

PRIMARY FOCUS: TEMPO
This Intermediate class helps students develop efficient coordination in the arms, legs, breathing, and body position at swim tempo.

 

Primary Focus: This intermediate swim class is designed to develop children into more efficient swimmers by coordinating the arms, legs, breathing and body position with correct swim tempo.

Student Goals: To refine freestyle with rhythmic breathing and improve backstroke, breast stroke timing, and be introduced to sidestroke and treading water.

ADVANCED

LEVEL V

Based on swim ability

PRIMARY FOCUS: TECHNIQUE
This Advanced class helps students refine underwater technique in breaststroke, freestyle, backstroke, sidestroke, and butterfly.

 

Primary Focus: This advanced swim class focuses on the refinement of the underwater technique in breaststroke, freestyle and backstroke and teaches sidestroke and an introduction to the butterfly.

Student Goals: To demonstrate freestyle with rhythmic breathing, backstroke, breaststroke, treading water and a correct sidestroke. Students will also learn the components of butterfly.

LEVEL VI

Based on swim ability

PRIMARY FOCUS: ENDURANCE
This Advanced class helps students refine and strengthen each swimming stroke and build endurance while swimming.

 

Primary Focus: This advanced swim class is designed to refine and strengthen each swimming stroke and build endurance while swimming. Students will learn proper starts, turns, and breathing techniques for 4 competitive strokes and sidestroke.

Student Goals: To swim greater distances of freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, sidestroke, butterfly, tread water with ease and learn to flip turn.
